Leigh is devoted to her clients and always strives to reach a favorable resolution, whether through trial, settlement conference or mediation. As a child of divorce, Leigh understands the emotional and financial difficulty that families face and she brings a unique talent for problem solving complex issues.

Leigh has a special knack for high conflict cases and difficult property issues. Leigh has successfully litigated intellectual property disputes, business valuations, and reconstituted estates due to the waste of assets. She has even won Daubert challenges excluding expert witnesses from testifying for the opposing party.  Additionally, Leigh has successfully tried several family law trials to a jury.

Leigh is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialist and a Fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She is a member of the Family Law Council of the State Bar of Texas, a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, as well as the Past-President of the Austin Bar Association Family Law Section. Leigh is a frequent speaker at family law courses and seminars, and the author of numerous family law articles and publications.

Leigh’s husband, Andre is a Captain in the Austin Fire Department and founder of the Emergency Service Pipes and Drums Association. Leigh is able to use her knowledge and skill with public safety and pension issues to gain advantage in family law cases for fire, police and EMS service members when faced with divorce.

Leigh is also the Girl Scout leader for her twin daughter’s troop and an occasional volunteer with the Austin Yacht Club. In her free time, Leigh enjoys sailing, writing, and painting.
